BARDEM LOVES MOVIE PORTRAIT
Spanish actor JAVIER BARDEM was so impressed with the portrait of him created for new movie GOYA’S GHOST he’s determined to claim it as his own.
The movie star plays a monk posing for a portrait by Francisco de Goya during the Spanish Inquisition - and his image was used for a copy of one of the artist’s most famous canvas creations.
Bardem says, "The artist for the film was so good. He did my portrait from a photograph of me. He did a great job.
"I want that portrait. Where is it? I should ask for it. I want to put it in my room. I’m so self-centred, I’m so narcissistic that I want to wake up and see myself. I’d put it on the ceiling."
