Tot’s monster truck ride
A US toddler miraculously escaped unharmed after the parked truck he was sitting in rolled out of the driveway and down the road, leaving a path of destruction in its wake.
The pick-up truck rolled across a road and down several embankments, smashing through a gas pipe, crushing some trees, crossing a pond, destroying the porch of a house and finally coming to a rest as it hit a chain-link fence.
Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Susan Quayle said the two-year-old boy was sitting in the cab of the Ford truck while his mother loaded a mattress into the back, helped by a man, when the vehicle began its wild journey.
It is not known how the truck began rolling.
