LIGHTBODY: ‘I’M A RUSSIAN SPACE DOG’
SNOW PATROL frontman GARY LIGHTBODY has landed a new job as a radio DJ - and he’s terrified.
The Chasing Cars claims his guest stint on British radio station XFM next month (Jul07), is akin to the journey of the first dog in space - because he doesn’t belong in a radio studio.
Lightbody says, "To be honest, I feel like the first Russian cosmonaut. Nope, not Yuri Gagarin, I mean the wee dog, Laika.
"So many controls, buttons, levers and flashing lights and next to no idea what any of them do, or, indeed, why I’m here."
