WALSH CONFIRMS X FACTOR RETURN
LATEST: Irish pop mogul LOUIS WALSH has confirmed he is to return as a judge on British TV talent show THE X FACTOR - three months after he was sacked by SIMON COWELL.
The Westlife manager vowed he would never work with the American Idol judge again after he was fired by the bosses of the hit ITV programme in March (07).
But Walsh is now set to replace American choreographer Brian Friedman on the judging panel, and the dance star will take on a new role as creative director.
The 54-year-old says, "They told me ‘We’d like to have you back’. We have a chemistry between us, which you can’t just get by putting people into a room. I had no hesitation in going back.
"In spite of all the bantering, I have continued to have a good working relationship with Simon, ITV and the show’s producers and I am thrilled to be asked back on the show."
