RICHIE: ‘I’M NO ROLE MODEL’
Socialite NICOLE RICHIE has urged America’s teenagers not to look up to her as a role model.
The 25-year-old, who entered rehab in 2003 after being arrested for possession of heroin and is due in court in July (07) to contest a driving under the influence charge, is pleased she didn’t find fame in her teens because impressionable young girls may have followed her wild example.
Speaking in U.S. magazine Nylon, Richie says, "I don’t walk around pretending that I’m perfect, so I don’t think anyone should hold me to that.
"The dangerous thing is that there are 16, 17, 18-year-olds that people consider to be role models. I’m so happy I wasn’t famous back then. You’d think I was the f**king devil."
