POTTER BOOK SELLS AT AUCTION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:14 am

A rare HARRY POTTER book has sold at auction for $18,000 (GBP9,000) in London.
The first edition copy of author J.K. Rowling’s premiere Potter novel, Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, was one of only 500 printed by publisher Bloomsbury in 1997.
The hardback book had been expected to fetch between GBP5,000 ($10,000) and GBP7,000 ($14,000), and was being sold on behalf of a woman who bought it after winning book tokens at school.
