LUDACRIS’ MANAGER SPEAKS OUT AFTER T.I. ‘ATTACK’
LATEST: LUDACRIS’ manager CHAKA ZULU has spoken out after he was reportedly attacked by rapper T.I.
T.I. - real name Clifford Harris - was attending a luncheon in California on Sunday (24Jun07) when he got into a argument with Zulu - which allegedly ended with the rapper punching the music mogul.
However, Zulu says the incident ruined a night which was meant to promote the charitable nature of musicians.
He tells Allhiphop.com, "It’s a shame that things like this continue to happen especially with the backdrop of an event that was about benevolence and charitable works. I’m thankful that all issues have been resolved." The altercation follows a three-year feud with chart rival Ludacris.
The pair fell out in 2004 after T.I. took offence to a scene in one of Ludacris’ music videos, in which a man wearing a top similar to that of the rapper’s Trap Muzik record label is seen getting beaten up.
T.I. recently reignited the feud by claiming he deserved to win the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album over the Stand Up star.
