THE STREETS STARSTRUCK BY DAFT PUNK
British rapper THE STREETS was left speechless after meeting his idols DAFT PUNK at the O2 Wireless Festival in London earlier this month (Jun07).
The MC, real name Mike Skinner, admits he was totally starstruck when he met the French dance duo at the 16 June gig in Hyde Park.
He tells MTV.co.uk, "Oh my gosh! The Daft Punk show is unbelievable. Two robots playing blazing grooves from this huge pyramid made of TV screens. Felix from Basement Jaxx introduced me to Thomas Bangalter (from Daft Punk) after as well, which was the most starstruck moment of my life.
"I was just standing there listening to what he was saying, enjoying the moment and then this girl started rattling on in my ear going on about The Streets, blah blah…"
