SIZEMORE SENT TO PRISON FOR 16 MONTHS
LATEST: Troubled actor TOM SIZEMORE has been sentenced to 16 months in prison for violating his probation in a 2004 crystal methamphetamine possession case.
The Black Hawk Down star appeared at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday (25Jun07). He will serve his sentence at Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego, California, which has a drug rehab facility.
Sizemore, 45, previously admitted violating his probation when police found two bags of crystal methamphetamine and pipes in his possession during an arrest last month (May07) in Bakersfield, California.
In a court appearance last week (ends22Jun07), he tearfully begged the judge to give him another chance to overcome his drug problems.
Sizemore, who has been in custody since his arrest, is due back in court on Tuesday (26Jun07), when a judge will determine how much credit will be applied to his sentence for time already served.
