The Sweet Escape hitmaker was performing a solo show at a homecoming gig at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irving, California when her former bandmates appeared on stage.
The band, who will reunite for a sixth album, played Just A Girl, It’s My Life and Spiderwebs.

Pop legend MICHAEL JACKSON has given up on trying to relaunch his music career in Las Vegas and is heading to Europe.
The Thriller hitmaker, who moved to Las Vegas in December (06), is hoping his fan base in Europe may spark a comeback after more than a decade of tabloid headlines over child abuse allegations.

BRITNEY SPEARS appears to be reaching out to her estranged mother LYNNE in a coded message on her official website.
The troubled singer, 25, and her mum Lynne reportedly fell out earlier this year (07) after the star felt she had been ‘pushed’ into entering rehab after months of hard partying following her split from husband Kevin Federline.
Earlier this month (Jun07), Spears posted a message on her website asking fans to name her next album.
Over the weekend (23-24Jun07), the message was updated to include the words "You’ll never see it my way because you’re not me" and "Mother to grandmother, and my my you’re grand".
Lynne recently told Us Weekly magazine, "You go into a time in your life with the world watching and you are just trying to figure yourself out "It’s sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another.

ANTONIO BANDERAS has praised his wife MELANIE GRIFFITH for remaining upbeat, despite being shunned by Hollywood in favour of younger actresses.
Acting work has dried up for the 49-year-old star, but Banderas insists Griffith is happy on the sidelines - and he hints she could be a huge star again if movie bosses find a way to digitally remove wrinkles.
He says, "She’s a victim of ageing. When you have wrinkles, it seems you stop being an actress.
"It’s very unfair. I’d be depressed about not getting roles, but she’s not.
In the future, they’ll remove wrinkles digitally, so you may see Melanie on screen anyway!" Meanwhile, the actor admits he already has plans in place for his old age: "I accept my age. If I lose my hair and develop a fat belly, I’ll do some character roles."

VICTORIA BECKHAM has been awarded undisclosed damages by London’s High Court over magazine claims she is "picky, demanding and rude".
The former Spice Girl successfully sued Britain’s Star magazine after an article claimed a crew member on her American reality TV show found her "full of herself and not very nice".
The article went on to claim Beckham’s show was solely designed to make her popular in the U.S., but "she waltzes round with her icy attitude.
"The crew get a big laugh out of how she seems to think she’s ‘all that’ and then some doorman or waiter has no clue who she is." Beckham’s lawyer, Gerrard Tyrrell, told the High Court filming on the programme had not commenced when the allegations were published, which meant they could not have been made.
He further claimed the magazine did not contact Beckham before proceeding with publication.
He says, "The story was completely inaccurate and defamatory of Ms Beckham." Star magazine’s publishers Northern and Shell apologised for the stress and embarrassment caused, retracted the story and agreed to pay damages and legal costs.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA insists her long-planned movie career is closer to becoming a reality - she’s started reading scripts.
The singer has been talking for several years about her wish to start an acting career, but is waiting for the right movie to come along.

Actor DAVID HYDE PIERCE has teamed up with America’s Alzheimer’s Association’s Champions campaign to fight the disease both his father and grandfather suffer from.
The former Frasier star hopes the campaign will recruit one American for every person suffering from the disease to help raise funds and awareness.
He says, "I think the hardest thing in both cases, with my grandfather and with my dad, were the moments when they understood what was happening to them.
It’s a disease that takes your brain apart, a piece at a time and it doesn’t stop till it kills you.
"All we have to do is find a way to slow it down. We’re not trying to keep people from dying. We’re trying to keep people from dying this way."

An AMERICAN IDOL employee who claims he was fired for complaining of sexual harassment by a male contestant has been told his lawsuit will be decided by arbitration in accordance with his contract. Magdaleno Olmos, who worked as an assistant production accountant on the hit show, sued American Idol Productions, Fox, Fremantle Media and contestant Mario Vasquez for wrongful termination in March (07), alleging he was fired after complaining to executives about Vasquez.
In a lawsuit filed in California, Olmos accuses Vasquez of making "inappropriate" advance towards him in February 2005, including exposing himself in a men’s bathroom.
Olmos is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages for "economic losses, depravation of civil rights, humiliation, physical anguish, and mental and emotional distress".
But Superior Court Judge Michael C. Solner denied Olmos the chance to air his claims before a jury and ruled arbitration.

Film veteran TONY CURTIS is recovering in a Nevada hospital after undergoing a routine ileostomy.
The Some Like It Hot star, 82, underwent the procedure - which leave a surgically formed opening in the lower part of the small intestine - at St.
Rose Hospital in Henderson last week (ends22Jun07).
The actor’s lawyer Rachael Ganatta says, "He’s doing great. He should be home any day now." Curtis underwent the surgery after delaying it so he could recover from his bout of pneumonia last year (06).
The actor spent several days in a coma after contracting pneumonia in December.

Scottish singer/songwriter KT TUNSTALL’s latest festival performance was put in jeopardy at the weekend (22-24Jun07) after her tour manager snapped the strings on her guitar.

Eight people were left seriously injured following a mass brawl at an EXPLOITED concert in Bulgaria.
The punk legends were playing a gig in Sofia when a fight involving around 60 people broke out on Wednesday night (20Jun07), reports MTV.
Sources claim the group were fighting using glass bottles, chains and other metal objects as weapons before the police could arrive.
Five people were arrested in connection with the incident, and the concert continued as planned.

COURTENEY COX has discovered the secret to a happy marriage - letting her husband DAVID ARQUETTE triumph in "stupid" arguments.

British royal PRINCE WILLIAM has played down speculation he has reunited with former love KATE MIDDLETON, insisting they are just "good friends".
The couple - who split in April (07) after four years together - sparked rumours of a reconciliation after they were reportedly spotted kissing at an British Army party earlier this month (Jun07).
But friends of the heir to the throne insist there will be no reunion.
