TRAVOLTA CREDITS DIANA DANCE WITH ‘SAVING’ CAREER
JOHN TRAVOLTA believes his infamous dance with late British royal DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES at a White House dinner in 1985 "saved" his career.
Travolta admits he was going through a quiet patch when he was given the chance to show off his famous moves with the tragic princess.
Soon after, Travolta’s phone was inundated with calls from filmmakers and his career soon picked up with the Look Who’s Talking franchise.
He says, "That was an amazing moment for me because I was having a dip in my career and no one was interested in me.
"Suddenly, I was the only thing that mattered in America to Princess Diana and I was reborn.
"I was like, ‘Wow. I matter to someone again.’ I was on the cover of every newspaper and magazine in the world and someone as significant as Princess Diana reminded everyone of me."
