RODRIGUEZ CHARGED WITH DRUG POSSESSION
Country singer JOHNNY RODRIGUEZ has been charged drug possession and driving under the influence in an Oklahoma court.
The Love Put a Song in My Heart hitmaker, 55, was stopped by police for allegedly speeding in Purcell, Oklahoma on Friday (15Jun07).
Officers claim they found bags of marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and an open can of beer in truck.
After being released from the McClain County Jail on Saturday (16Jun07), Rodriguez was charged with felony counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of drugs before being released on $6,500 (£3,250) bail.
Rodriguez is due to return to court on 18 July (07) for a hearing.
