SWEDISH ROCKER GIVEN DISABILITY ALLOWANCE DUE TO METAL HABIT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:44 am

A Swedish heavy metal fan has won a case to claim disability allowance because he’s hooked on hard rock.
Roger Tullgren’s musical preferences have officially been classified as a disability after the 42-year-old took a psychological analysis.
He can now claim state benefits from his native Hassleholm.
Because heavy metal dominates so many aspects of his life, the local Employment Service has agreed to pay part of Tullgren’s salary and his new boss at a restaurant where the rock fans washes dishes, has given him a special dispensation to play loud music at work.
Tullgrem says, "The fact that I am so into music has affected my work situation to the extent that I have had to quit some jobs." In 2006 alone, the rocker claims to have attended almost 300 rock shows, often skipping work in the process. He also plays bass and guitar in two Swedish rock bands.
