RAHMAN LOSES NEW MUSIC IN LONDON

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:02 am

Bollywood composer A.R. RAHMAN has lost the only record of his latest musical works - after his laptop went missing on a flight to London.
The star arrived in the English capital on Monday (18Jun07) to attend a preview performance of the stage adaptation of J.R.R Tolkien’s The Lord Of The Rings, after composing the music for the $25 million (£12.5 million) spectacular with Finnish band Varttina and Christopher Nightingale.
But the musician was devastated to learn one of the two bags he checked in at a U.S. airport had gone missing - including his outfit for the performance and a computer featuring new compositions.
He says, "I don’t know what to feel, I don’t know what to say. I am very confused. I am disturbed. I have lost my laptop containing the whole data of my work and music." A spokesperson for British Airways, who operated Rahman’s flight, says, "After he contacts us, we will do everything possible in our power to get the missing bag back."
