Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:50 am

JAMES GANDOLFINI is to return to the U.S. cable TV network where he played TONY SOPRANO for eight years with a documentary about wounded Iraq war veterans.
The actor’s interviews with 10 American soldiers recounting their experiences in battle will feature in Alive Day Memories: Home from Iraq.
The explosive special will debut on cable channel HBO on 9 September (07).
The Sopranos star also produced the project, which marks the first project from Gandolfini’s Attaboy Films production company.
Gandolfini jumped at the chance to make the documentary and conduct the interviews after visiting U.S. troops in Iraq on behalf of the United Services Organisation.
Meanwhile, Gandolfini is also expected to portray legendary writer Ernest Hemingway in a new biopic.
