LATEST: The trial of boy band svengali LOU PEARLMAN has hit a problem - the businessman is refusing to speak to authorities.
Pearlman, the man behind acts like the Backstreet Boys and ‘N SYNC, was apprehended by the FBI in Bali, Indonesia last week (ends15Jun07) after five months on the run.
But the former fugitive, who is charged with bank fraud, is refusing to open up about his business dealings as he goes on trial in Guam, an island in the Western Pacific Ocean.
On Friday (15Jun07), before a federal judge, Pearlman refused to answer questions regarding his financial assets.
Pearlman was expelled from Indonesia after he was dubbed "an undesirable visitor" by authorities there.
