DOWNEY JR. TO PLAY SELLERS?

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:08 am

Reformed drug addict ROBERT DOWNEY JR. will reportedly play PETER SELLERS in a production in London’s West End next year (08).
The Zodiac star will take on the role as the legendary English comic - famed for his Inspector Clouseau roles in the Pink Panther - in a stage adaptation of his life.
It is believed Downey Jr. was chosen for the role over fellow actors Robin Williams and Steve Coogan following his success in playing Charlie Chaplin in the 1992 biopic Chaplin.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "Downey Jr. is considered ideal. Having played Chaplin, he’s already proved he can portray famous English comedians very well indeed."
