Britain’s Princes William and Harry have revealed ‘not a day goes by’ without them thinking about their late mother Princess Diana.

Posted in: Royal News — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:47 pm

The royal brothers speak of their endless grief in a heartfelt interview for US TV, as they approach the 10th anniversary of their mother’s death. William, 24, tells interviewer Matt Lauer: ‘When you knew somebody or someone that important to you, you always think about… you know. I mean, so after it happened we were always, you know, always thinking about it. And there’s not a day goes by I don’t think, you know, that I don’t think about it once in the day.’ The interview - to be aired on NBC on June 18 - is a rare glimpse into the true feelings of the brothers, who were still schoolboys when Diana and her lover Dodi Al Fayed were killed in a Paris car crash in August 1997. Speaking of the crash, Harry, 22, says: ‘Whatever happened in that tunnel - no one will ever know. And I’m sure people will always think about that the whole time.’ When asked whether he still thinks about what really happened, Harry replies: ‘I’ll never stop wondering about that.’ Clarence House sources have claimed the brothers agreed to the interview because of their frustration over the countless conspiracy theories surrounding their mother’s death. Paddy Haverson, the princes’ spokesman, told reporters: ‘It is only natural that Harry will always be thinking about what happened on that night. Of course he and William think a lot about it and whether the accident could have been avoided.’ An official inquiry into the princess’ death returned an ‘accidental’ verdict. However, Dodi’s father, Harrods tycoon Mohamed Al Fayed, believes the deaths were the result of a plot engineered by the Establishment.

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is set to be immortalised as a wax dummy.

Posted in: Royal News — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:47 pm

London’s famous Madame Tussauds museum had previously decided against adding a Camilla exhibit to their collection due to public hostility towards her. But dramatic changes in public opinion means the popular tourist attraction will now welcome Camilla into the world of wax. Ben Lovett, a Madame Tussauds spokesman, said: ‘We carry out surveys when our guests are leaving and large numbers of them have asked for her. In the last year we have seen a growing number of requests. Maybe it does signal a change in the public mood towards her and that she has become accepted by the wider public.
‘I know the Duchess of Cornwall is as delighted as we are and I know she is looking forward to it.’ Camilla, who turns 60 this year, will now join her husband Prince Charles on display. Tussauds unveiled a new revised model of Charles last month. In keeping with Charles’ keen environmental philosophies, the waxwork was made from entirely recycled materials.

Britain’s Prince Harry has reportedly been banned from playing polo.

Posted in: Royal News — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:47 pm

The 22-year-old officer, who is currently stationed at Alberta’s British Army Training Unit, in Canada, has been warned not to play his favourite sport when he gets back to the UK as it will ‘not look good’.
His advisors believe Harry - who was held back from going to Iraq last month because of security risks - will face a public backlash if he is pictured having fun while his fellow Blues and Royals troops are fighting in the war-torn country.
A source told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: ‘He’s been warned not to play when he comes home. I think there is an acceptance that it doesn’t look good if he is photographed enjoying himself while the men in his regiment are out risking their lives in Iraq.’ Over the weekend, Harry drew criticism when he was photographed drunkenly kissing a girl in a Canadian nightclub, despite advisers warning him he should tame his partying.
Meanwhile, Harry’s older brother William will be playing lots of polo this summer in a bid to raise millions for charity.
The 24-year-old royal is said to be charging sponsors £30,000 to play in matches, which he will then donate to charity.

Britain’s Prince William has joked that his brother Harry would ‘drink beer all day’ if he wasn’t a prince.

Posted in: Royal News — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:47 pm

Britain’s Prince William has joked that his brother Harry would ‘drink beer all day’ if he wasn’t a prince. William, 24, made the joke during the brothers’ candid interview with US TV reporter Matt Lauer. When the journalist asks Harry, 22, what he would have liked to do with his life if his surname wasn’t Windsor, William jumps in and quips: ‘He’d probably sit and play computer games and drink beer.’ Putting him straight, Harry - whose girlfriend Chelsy Davy’s family runs a ranch in Zimbabwe - says: ‘Oh, thanks a lot! No, honestly, I don’t know how well this would get on, but I’d probably live in Africa. I’d like to spend all my time out there. It would be a humanitarian and aspect and as well a sort of safari aspect. I would have to get a job. So it would probably be a safari guide.’ As for William’s own non-royal aspirations, he reveals: ‘When I was younger I wanted to be a policeman. I wouldn’t want to be that now. It’s a really tricky question. I guess I’d like to fly helicopters. Definitely. I’d like to be some sort of heli-pilot, working for the UK maybe or something like that. ‘I’d have to be doing something active, outside and doing some sort of fun stuff with an edge of helping people.’ The interview, recorded as the 10th anniversary of the death of the brothers’ mother Princess Diana approaches, marks a rare insight into the princes’ personal thoughts.

The troubled actress, who is currently being treated for alcoholism and drug abuse in Malibu’s Promises clinic, was set to star in the 2007 autumn campaign for fashion house Jill Stuart and shot the advertisements in April.
However, the Japanese branch of the company who funded the campaign are said to be furious with Lindsay’s recent behaviour and no longer want her involved.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: ‘The Japanese licensee paid for it, and they wanted to pull the plug.
‘The day Lindsay appeared on the front page of the newspaper crashed out in the front seat of the SUV, the Japanese told Ron Curtis (Jill Stuart’s CEO) they no longer wanted to be involved. And they are the ones who financed the campaign.’ However, Curtis insists the international campaign will still go ahead as planned.
He said: ‘The ads are running as planned, and we have the utmost support for Lindsay and her rehabilitation, and she is doing great. They will also appear in all of the major lifestyle fashion magazines for fall in Asia and the U.S.’ Meanwhile, the ‘Mean Girls’ star is being sued over a 2005 accident in which she crashed her car into a parked van.

Sandra Bullock’s accused stalker who attempted to run over the actress’ husband has pleaded not guilty.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

Marcia Diane Valentine - who was charged with aggravated assault and stalking after attempting to run down Jesse James in April - pleaded not guilty to the two charges in a Southern California courtroom yesterday (12.06.07).
The 46-year-old faces a maximum sentence of four years and eight months in prison if she is found guilty.

Sandra testified in court that Valentine lay in her driveway until she was ordered away and littered her property with ‘weird signs’ and ‘pieces of animal fur’.

The White Stripes performed a secret London show for a group of pensioners.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

Jack and Meg White performed the acoustic set at the Royal College Hospital in West London yesterday (12.06.07) in front of 20 war veterans.
An emotional Jack told the Chelsea pensioners: ‘Besides letting us in to our home, we want to thank you for the service you’ve done your country and the rest of the world, especially the United States of America.’ When asked about the unlikely gig, Jack replied: ‘You should talk to these guys instead. They’ve got so many stories.’ The duo performed six songs in front of a seated audience of Chelsea pensioners, who were wearing their traditional red jackets and military decorations.
Although most of the elderly gentlemen were unfamiliar with the music of their rock star visitors, they clapped along enthusiastically to the closing sequence of cover versions, including an old ballad called ‘You Belong To Me’.
One Chelsea pensioner, 60-year-old Brian Wells, said: ‘I remember it from when I was serving out in Malaya. But these youngsters more than did it justice. I think they’re fantastic.’ Profits from the performance will go to the Chelsea Pensioners’ Appeal and The London Pearly Kings And Queens Society’s chosen charities.
The White Stripes will headline the O2 Wireless festival in London’s Hyde Park tomorrow (14.06.07).

Luke Wilson cried when he was banned from the Playboy mansion.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

The ‘Vacancy’ star admitted he was distraught when he was blacklisted from the infamous bachelor pad for trying to crash a party pretending to be his actor brother Owen.
Luke was so upset he called owner Hugh Hefner to beg for forgiveness.
He is quoted by the Daily Record newspaper as saying: ‘I phoned Hugh and apologised. I may have even cried.’ Luke, 35, also admitted he got tongue-tied when he asked actress Drew Barrymore - who he met on the set of 1998 comedy ‘Home Fries’ - out on a date.
He recalled: ‘I stammered when I asked her out. I remember thinking ‘What am I doing?’ ‘ The star insists although the couple didn’t work out romantically, they still remain close friends, and she even cast him in her movie ‘Charlie’s Angels’, which she starred in and produced.
He added: ‘Drew is one of my best friends.
‘The fact that she hired me for the first movie when we were no longer dating and were not necessarily getting along that way says a lot. I wouldn’t hire anybody I had been going out with.’ Luke stars with Kate Beckinsale in new horror flick ‘Vacancy’ which sees a soon-to-be-divorced couple stranded at a creepy hotel when their car breaks down.

Monica Bellucci believes every woman has a secret desire to play a prostitute.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

The sultry actress insists all women are curious about their ‘dark sides’ and would love to know how to please a man.
She told Esquire magazine: ‘We are all interested in our dark sides and in what happens in the dark. We women think prostitutes know better than us about the darks sides of men. We think they know everything there is to know about them.’ The Italian beauty stars in ‘Shoot ‘Em Up’, in which she plays a ‘kinky’ prostitute on the run from an armed gang.
She said: ‘The woman I play is a hooker whose speciality is something very kinky. You’ll see when you see the movie, it’s really kinky.’ Monica stars alongside Paul Giamatti and Clive Owen in the British thriller.
The actress relishes the challenge of playing passionate, daring characters and says many US stars are too scared to accept ‘risky’ roles.
She said: ‘For me, it’s very interesting to be scared. I love doing strange and risky things. In Europe, we can do strange films and strange characters and we’ll be called brave. If an American actress did the same character, she can destroy her career.’

Paris Hilton’s parents are planning a ‘get out of jail’ party for her.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

Paris Hilton’s parents are planning a ‘get out of jail’ party for her. The hotel heiress’ family wants to ensure Paris is welcomed back into society in style after she completes her 45-day sentence. Billionaire Rick Hilton has approached a number of top Las Vegas clubs, including Pure, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and the Palms, as potential venues for the bash. A source told the New York Post newspaper: ‘He was originally asking for a $50,000 cash fee to be paid, as well as accommodations and flights. Pure and Hard Rock said ‘no’ flat out, but George Maloof, who owns the Palms, didn’t say yes or no. He’s very good pals with Paris and is the one who once hooked her up with Britney Spears.’ However, the party plans have been pushed back since Paris’ sentence was restored to the original 45 days, which had been reduced to 23 days for ‘good behaviour’. Following her early exit last week due to a ‘medical condition’, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ordered her back inside to serve the full sentence. Meanwhile, the blonde star’s lawyer has insisted she isn’t being given preferential treatment in prison.
Richard Hutton says Paris, who is currently in Los Angeles’ Two Towers Correctional Facility’s medical ward for an undisclosed condition, is getting the same as care and attention as the rest of her inmates.
He said: ‘She’s doing as well as she can. The staff are giving her excellent medical care. She’s being treated the same as everyone else in jail. She is receiving no preferential treatment.’

Antonio Banderas says making his animated ‘Shrek’ character sexy was ‘embarrassingly easy’.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

The ‘Shrek the Third’ star, who voiced the character of Puss in Boots in the movie, insists sexiness comes naturally to him.
Antonio told BANG Showbiz: ‘It was embarrassingly easy to make Puss in Boots sexy, to tell you the truth. He is a cute cat with the voice of a Casanova.
‘Once you have it, it’s just a matter of doing it and having fun with it. The more fun you have with the more people will respond to it. That is what it’s all about.’ Antonio has also revealed Puss in Boots will be the first ‘Shrek’ character to star in his own spin-off movie. He said: ‘Yes, Puss in Boots is to have his own movie. Poor Donkey - he doesn’t have his own movie. Ha! ‘We have the script ready but I haven’t had a chance to read it yet. As soon as the promotion for ‘Shrek the Third’ is over I’ll start work on it.
‘From what I have been told, it sounds just how I would have chosen it to be. We will see his story from when he was a little kitten until he became a trained killer, and it will unplug the mysteries of his character. It sounds very funny and very emotional too.
‘It will be fun to bring more colour to the story. It will be made with the same ‘Shrek’ team which is great as I love this family and I love working with these people.’

Eddie Murphy was not named as the father of Mel B’s baby on her birth certificate.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

Eddie Murphy was not named as the father of Mel B’s baby on her birth certificate. The father section on Angel Iris’ birth certificate was left blank, despite earlier reports the former Spice Girl had put Eddie’s name on the document.
The news was revealed a day after a Los Angeles court ordered Eddie to provide a DNA sample to determine the paternity of Angel Iris earlier this week.
The certificate does list ‘Murphy’ as the 10-week-old infant’s middle name.
Mel sought court action after Eddie denied her claims he is the baby girl’s father. The ‘Dreamgirls’ actor had a whirlwind romance with Mel last year, but publicly dumped the singer on Dutch TV in December adding people ’shouldn’t jump to conclusions’ about whose the baby is. Eddie, 46, has not visited seen Mel or Angel Iris since she was born in April. Earlier this week, he claimed he would ‘do the right thing’ and look after the child if she was found to be his.

Britney Spears enjoyed a night out in Los Angeles on Monday (11.06.07).

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

The ‘Toxic’ singer was joined by her assistant Alli Sims and some female friends for dinner at her new favourite restaurant, Bel Air’s SHU Sushi House Unico.
A source told People magazine: "She dined upstairs in a private area. She ordered her usual – California roll and a salad.
‘She seemed happy. She just enjoyed the music on the radio, the atmosphere and the food. She was having fun.’ The mother-of-two then visited Hollywood nightclub Guy’s, followed by a brief visit to hip hangout Winston’s.
A fellow reveller said: ‘Britney and Alli were holding hands, not leaving one another’s side. Britney spent much of her time whispering into Alli’s ear, smiling, drinking a bottle of water – she seemed to be in a really good mood, goofing around.’ Just before 1am, the singer and her friends moved on to Joseph’s nightclub, where the night began to take its toll on the 26-year-old.
A witness said: ‘Britney was pretty subdued. She didn’t really appear to be having a good time. She was casually talking with Alli. All the guests were swarming around her table to try and get a peek.’

Ioan Gruffudd has ‘two left feet’.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

The British actor says he was "highly embarrassed" while performing a complicated dance sequence for his latest movie ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’.
Ioan, who plays flexible hero Reed Richards, said: "I have two left feet on the dance floor. That performance is down to the special effects team although I did have a week of choreography sessions, which wasn’t such a bad thing as I was surrounded by three gorgeous actresses who play the other dancers.
"It was a highly embarrassing situation, being up on that stage on my own performing the dance, pretending that I’m spinning and pretending that I’m enjoying myself while I’m incredibly self conscious and all the other extras and all the other actors are sat there watching me." Gruffudd could have sought advice from his co-star Jessica Alba, who plays Reed’s fiancée Sue Storm in the film. Jessica’s first Hollywood break came as a dance music choreographer in ‘Honey’.
She also flaunted her sexy moves playing a pole dancer in ‘Sin City’.

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are not married.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

The ‘King Kong’ star and ‘The Manchurian Candidate’ actor - who are expecting their first child in August - have not tied the knot, despite Liev claiming otherwise at the Tony Awards on Sunday (10.06.07).
Liev’s representative cleared up the confusion by saying: ‘They’re not married.’ The 39-year-old actor set tongues wagging by telling reporters at New York’s Radio City Music Hall: ‘We are married. You got it first. Break the story!’ However, the pair spent the rest of the evening denying they had exchanged marriage vows.
When asked backstage if she was now Mrs Schreiber, Naomi, 38, smiled and replied: ‘No.’ Liev - who was nominated for the Best Performance by a Leading Actor Award for his part in Broadway play ‘Talk Radio’ but lost out to Frank Langella for ‘Frost/Nixon’ - also denied marriage reports, saying they were ‘not true’.
The couple - who recently co-starred in ‘The Painted Veil’ - have been together since 2005 and announced the pregnancy in February this year.
Liev revealed that although he wanted to find out the sex of the baby, Naomi preferred to keep it a surprise.
He added: ‘I really don’t know. I wanted to know, she doesn’t.’

Kelly Clarkson has split from her manager.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

The ‘American Idol’ winner parted ways with Jeff Kwatinetz, of management company The Firm, yesterday (12.06.07) but insists the decision was amicable.
She said: "I have been so fortunate to be supported by so many talented people in all corners of the music business. Those guys at The Firm did a good job and I really appreciate everything they did." Kelly was reportedly frustrated with the direction her management company was pushing her in.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "They disagreed over the songs and the direction. Everyone is surprised but Kelly’s had enough." Kelly recently revealed her disappointment at the way her record label and management company had treated her.
She said: "I’ve sold more than 15 million records worldwide, and still nobody listens to what I have to say. Because I’m 25 and a woman." Kelly also confessed that she fell out with her team over a song they wanted her to sing on the charity special edition of ‘American Idol’.
She told America’s Elle magazine: ‘My label wanted me to sing ‘Never Again,’ and I was like, to promote yourself on a charity event is beyond crass. People are starving and dying and I’m up there singing some bitter pop song? "And believe me, everyone wanted me to sing it. Because they are jaded and they have no soul. Imagine sitting in a room full of people totally against you. Can’t they hear themselves speaking? Capitalise on AIDS? Are you kidding? Insulting an entire nation of people? I just refused.’
