STORY SIGNS ON FOR ANOTHER COMIC BOOK ADAPTATION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:38 pm

FANTASTIC FOUR director TIM STORY is returning to comic-book inspiration for his latest silver screen venture, LOSERS.
The movie, based on the DC Comics adventures, charts a highly trained Special Operations team which is set up, betrayed and left for dead. Its members go on a quest for vengeance, righting wrongs they encounter along the way.
Although Story admits he had slightly grittier ambitions for his next film, the moviemaker concedes the tale immediately charmed him.
He says, "I told my agents I didn’t want to do another comic book. I had been in the world of fantasy and I wanted to do something very edgy, a realist action movie. I wanted to find something like a Bourne Identity or Black Hawk Down." He jokes of reading the script for the first time: "I was like, this is great - and then I found out it was a comic book…" Casting for the project is already underway.
