RIHANNA TOPS EUROPEAN SINGLES CHART
RIHANNA is the new queen of Europe after knocking BEYONCE KNOWLES and SHAKIRA off the top of the continent’s singles charts with her JAY-Z collaboration UMBRELLA.
Rihanna jumped four places to claim this week’s number one, while Knowles and Shakira’s Beautiful Liar, which had spent five weeks in pole position, falls to second place.
Nelly Furtado’s Say It Right drops down a position to number three, while there’s no move for Timbaland’s collaboration with Justin Timberlake and Furtado, Give It To Me, which sits at four.
Rounding out the top five is Avril Lavigne’s Girlfriend.
Linkin Park are enjoying a third week atop the European albums chart with Minutes To Midnight.
Maroon 5’s It Won’t Be Soon Before Long and Nelly Furtado’s Loose both climb three places to numbers two and three respectively, while Mika’s Life In Cartoon Motion falls a position to number four.
Michael Buble drops three places to five with Call Me Irresponsible.
