The Beatles’ legend has invited Heather to the intimate celebrations at his Peasmarsh estate next Monday (18.06.07).
A source told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper: "We are talking about a total and very quick transformation from a state of complete vitriol between the two of them to something much more amicable.
"Before she went to America, they wouldn’t speak on the phone, now they can have a civil conversation. "It’s as though Paul has chosen saturation point with all the bitterness and Heather – aware of the battering her public image has taken – has decided to genuinely try to bury the hatchet.
"Paul has had enough of all the spite. The divorce has effectively been placed on hold." Heather – who has been embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with Paul since they split in May 2006 – is set to present Paul with a vegan birthday cake at the party.
Two weeks ago, Heather, 39, and Paul were seen meeting in a North London restaurant, sparking rumours they had decided to end their feud for the sake of their three-year-old daughter Beatrice.
Relations between them have improved so much friends claim they have been meeting regularly and that Paul even sends Heather ‘little notes and flowers’.
Last week, Paul wowed a select group of fans at a secret London concert.
The star, who performed for just 1,000 people, debuted tracks from his eagerly anticipated new album, ‘Memory Almost Full’ and delighted the crowd with a series of Beatles classics, including ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Get Back’ and ‘Back In The USSR’.

The ‘Halloween’ star – who has two adopted children, 20-year-old Anne and 10-year-old Thomas with her actor husband Baron Christopher Haden Guest – has confessed she put her acting before her children.
Jamie said in an interview with Ladies Home Journal magazine: "My daughter was not the priority. I would take jobs wherever I had to take them and I would work all the time.
"You can talk about working for the greater good of the family and all of the spin you want to put on it, and yet I was just following my mother’s example at the expense of my daughter." The 48-year-old is the daughter of Hollywood screen legends Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh.
The ‘True Lies’ star has also hit out at critics who have slammed stars who adopt like Angelina Jolie and Madonna.
Jamie said: "It’s just hateful. It’s just a hateful thing to say. It’s obscene to question motive. These are human beings helping other human beings. End of story."

Eddie Murphy will undergo a DNA test to today (11.06.07) to determine whether he is the father of Mel B’s baby. Eddie has continually denied claims he is the father of two-month-old Angel Iris, after splitting with Mel while she was pregnant. The ‘Dreamgirls’ actor has now been ordered to appear in a US court to provide a DNA test after Mel sought legal action to resolve the dispute. A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "If he tries to duck out of this test there will be all hell to pay. This isn’t just another girlfriend he is messing around, this is his own flesh and blood.
"Mel knows the baby is Eddie’s and can’t believe it has got to the point where she has to force him to acknowledge there is a chance he could be the father.
"He has left her with no choice. This isn’t about the money. It’s about Angel knowing for sure who her dad is." Mel who has also been ordered to attend the court hearing, prepared for the day by meeting up with her former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham. The pair caught up over a meal which was filmed for Victoria’s new US reality TV show. Mel, 32, was "devastated" when Eddie abruptly ended their whirlwind romance late last year. At the time, Eddie told Dutch TV: "I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test." The actor, who has five children, has not seen Mel or baby Angel Iris since she was born.

The ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ star says Isabella, who turns one on Tuesday (12.06.07), has already travelled more in her first year than he did in his first 30.
He told People magazine: "We travel a lot but try to bring her everywhere. She has 11 stamps on her passport. She has more stamps than I did when I was 30." Although Isabella – whose mother is interior designer Luciana - has taken to flying like a bird, she is still trying to master land.
Damon explained: "She stands up and then realises she’s standing and down she goes. It’s fun." The 36-year-old actor recently finished filming ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’, which saw him shooting in Germany, Canada, England, France, Morocco, Spain, Latvia and New York.
Damon is now determined to emulate his ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ co-stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney and be named People’s Sexiest Man Alive.
He said: ‘I’m waiting for the imprisoned political lobbyist Jack Abramoff to rise from the ashes so he can lobby for me. Aside from that, I have to leave it up to God.’ Clooney won the accolade last year and in 1997, while Pitt was judged the Sexiest Man Alive in both 1995 and 2000.

As the rapper celebrated at New York’s Tenjune nightclub he was presented with a huge cake incorrectly emblazoned with the name "Kayne". The misspelt treat followed some awkward goodbyes at the Louis Vuitton mansion, where his evening began.
Sources claim to have overheard P. Diddy yelling, "I can’t believe you don’t call me back, Jay. Don’t play me like that", at an apologetic Jay-Z.
At the Louis Vuitton mansion Kanye enjoyed live performances from John Legend, Pharrell Williams and the Shiny Guns.
Other guests who helped celebrate the hip-hop star’s landmark birthday included Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Ashlee Simpson and her boyfriend Pete Wentz.
As he began celebrations, Kanye said: "I’m in my 20s as we speak right now, but at midnight, I’ll be 30. I’m already 30 in Japan and London and everywhere else." The singer and John, whose father was assassinated US president John F. Kennedy, had checked-in to a cheap Chicago motel behind their partners’ backs in 1988, but their steamy rendezvous was cut short due to a lack of protection. Rob Littell - who was a close friend of John’s when they were both students at Brown University - revealed the incident to C. David Heymann, the author of new book ‘American Legacy’. Rob claims: "They were working their way around the bases, and as they rounded third and headed for home, she asked him if he had any protection. He didn’t, so now they began discussing how they were going to get a hold of a prophylactic.
"She was still legally married to Sean Penn, and he had a steady girlfriend… They were afraid of being busted. They couldn’t very well just meander into a pharmacy and ask for a pack of Trojans. They were too well known… To John’s great chagrin, the relationship was never completed." Madonna separated from Sean at the end of 1988. The couple divorced the following year. John married Carolyn Bessette in September 1996, but the pair died in a tragic plane crash in July 1999.
Madonna, 48, is now married to British film director Guy Ritchie.

The ‘Sexy Back’ singer admits he doesn’t feel comfortable stripping off in front of the camera and thinks shooting love scenes is the worst part of acting.
Justin – who had to have sex on screen with Christina Ricci in new movie ‘Black Snake Moan’ - said: "When you’re doing them you’re constantly thinking it isn’t going to look hot at all. I’ll crack a joke or something so it is not as uncomfortable." Despite his reservations, the singer-and-actor admits his racy scenes with Christina were "hot".
Justin, 26, said: "The sex scene was pretty hot. I’m not going to say it doesn’t feel weird pretending to f**k someone in front of a man with a sound boom, though." The heartthrob admits he was nervous about having his naked butt shown on screen, but after sharing his concerns with the director some of the more revealing sequences were cut.
He said: "One of the first conversations I had with the director was about nudity. In the first cut you could see my a** but, thankfully, that was taken out.

The 35-year-old star wowed a live Los Angeles studio audience with her racy performance for the first annual Spike TV Guys Choice awards ceremony on Sunday (10.06.07).
Wearing a black bra and panties set, fishnet suspenders and knee-length leather boots, Carmen writhed around on the floor and sexily teased the crowd with her thrusting and gyrating.
The night also included performances from hairy rockers ZZ Top, with appearances from actors Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler, who won the Guy’s Guy award, voted for by Spike TV viewers.
Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn were also present to accept the Guy Movie Hall of Fame Award for their cult bachelor movie ‘Swingers’.
Other winners included ‘The Sopranos’ star James Gandolfini, who walked away with the Kingpin (Guy of the Year) award, and Jessica Alba who took the Hottest Jessica accolade.
The ceremony - hosted by comedian Tracy Morgan - will be broadcast on Spike TV on Wednesday (13.06.07).

The ‘Rich Girl’ singer used to raid her friends’ mother’s make-up boxes at every opportunity and loved experimenting with cosmetics.
Gwen told TV Hits magazine: ‘I was always the girl who, after school every day, would say, ‘Ask your mom if we can play with her make-up! And then we’d do that for about four hours! ‘I would burn everybody with the curling iron, I’d do make-overs on everyone.
‘I was a make-up artist in a mall when I was 17 so it’s always something I’ve been into.’ Mother-of-one Gwen insists she rarely goes out without make-up and doesn’t care what people think about her obsession.
The 37-year-old star - who is married to British rocker Gavin Rossdale - said: ‘Everyone has criticised me for wearing too much make-up but I’ve also made a career out of it! ‘My make-up must have is my lipstick. It’s what my husband likes me in and I definitely try to please him!’

The former Spice Girl and her family are moving to Los Angeles when husband David joins the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team this summer, and she hopes her four-year-old son will take up the cool water sport.
Victoria told Glamour magazine: ‘I’m really excited. David is really looking forward to what he’s going to be doing, and so are the kids because they love the idea of going to the beach for the day. The 33-year-old star said: ‘I really like Katie, she’s sweet and we speak on the phone about fashion and the kids - her daughter Suri has just started walking.

Angelina Jolie ‘questioned her worth as a person’ as a young actress. The Oscar-winning star was troubled with her choice of profession in her early 20s because she felt she wasn’t ‘contributing anything’. Angelina told Parade magazine: ‘To be sitting doing an interview, talking about a movie, my relationships, or whatever it may have been - you don’t feel like you’re contributing anything. ‘I have nothing against film. I like film. But at the end of the day, you wonder about your worth as a person.’ Angelina, 32, who has admitted to suffering from a self-harm problem as a teenager, also revealed she had not ‘found her way’ when her career took off. She said: ‘I think that when I was in my early 20s, I knew, innately, that I wasn’t living an important life. I think that I hadn’t so much lost my way, but I hadn’t found my way. I wasn’t giving very much. My life was not really benefiting anyone. The hotel heiress - who was sent back to prison on Friday (08.06.07) after she was briefly released and put on house arrest for ‘medical reasons’ - has stopped consuming any solids or liquids because she fears opportunist prison officers will take pictures of her relieving herself.
A source said: ‘At first she didn’t eat or drink anything because she didn’t want to have to use the toilet. ‘She cried constantly which didn’t help the dehydration.’ Paris was taken to Los Angeles’ Twin Towers Correctional Facility’s medical ward, after Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer overruled Sheriff Lee Baca’s decision to put her under house arrest.
Judge Sauer has also reinstated Paris’ full 45-day sentence - which had been reduced to 23 days - for driving with a suspended licence.
Paris is being monitored 24-hours-day at the new facility, where her basic cell measures 100 square feet and comes equipped with a toilet, sink and a small window.
On Sunday (10.06.07), the star was visited by her sister Nicky and her ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos.
Emerging from her 30-minute visit, Nicky said: ‘She’s being strong.’ Paris initially handed herself in to California’s Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood on June 3.

Ono was unsure if she should keep the unborn child because it was conceived shortly after the couple were reunited after splitting up for 18 months in the early 70s.
She told BBC Radio 4’s ‘Desert Island Discs’: "I know it sounds strange now but I thought, well, I should let John decide whether to keep it or not.
"We’d just got back together and I became pregnant very soon, and I didn’t know if it was the right moment to have a child because maybe he didn’t want it. I didn’t want to burden him with something he didn’t want.
"He said, ‘Of course we are going to keep it’, and he was really upset with my remark." Ono, who married Lennon in 1969, gave birth to Sean in 1975.
Lennon took a five-year career break to help raise Sean and virtually stopped playing the guitar and creating music.
Lennon, who was murdered by crazed fan Mark Chapman in New York in December 1980, was desperate to get home to see Sean on the night of his death.
Ono, 74, revealed: "I said, ‘Shall we go out and have dinner before we go home.’ John was saying he wanted to go home before Sean went to sleep. He was concerned about that. This is the last thing he said, that he wanted to see Sean."

The Babyshambles rocker looked "off his head" as he was refused a fare by a taxi driver, before landing a lift with a bemused photographer and making a series of bizarre protestations.
Sam Kelly, 24, had watched Pete try to flag down a taxi near his supermodel girlfriend Kate Moss’ London home, before cowering in a bush and wailing about "demons". The singer - who recently appeared in court for drugs offences - started mumbling about how he was going to be a "bigger music legend than Sir Paul McCartney", and complaining about girls wearing clothes from Kate’s Topshop fashion range. Sam added: "He asked to use my mobile phone to make a couple of calls. but I didn’t know if he was really talking to anyone. When I checked later, the number he called wasn’t recognised. "Pete carried on mumbling until I slowed for a corner, then he just jumped out and ran off. He was in a real state."

‘The Day After Tomorrow’ star and his wife are the biological parents of twins due to be born via a surrogate mother later this year, and the excited couple have just learned the sex of the babies.
Quaid announced at an Austin charity event he was hosting on Saturday (09.06.07): ‘We finally know the sexes of these sweet little children coming into the world – we’ve seen pictures of them. One of them was a boy and one of them was a girl.’ The twins will be born in November to a ‘gestational carrier’ – a woman who carries another couple’s baby conceived by the parents’ own egg and sperm.
Quaid and Texas real estate agent Kimberley, 35, married on July 4 2004.
The 53-year-old already has a 15-year-old son, Jack Henry, with his actress ex-wife Meg Ryan. The couple divorced after 10 years in 2001. ‘The Big Easy’ star was also married to actress P.J. Soles between 1978 and 1983.
Quaid is currently filming ‘The Express’. The movie follows the true story of Ernie Davis, the first black American football player to win the Heisman Trophy - given to the most outstanding US college football player.
Davis’ NFL career was tragically cut short by leukaemia.
The film is scheduled for release in 2009.

The ‘Scarface’ actor, who received the acting institution’s highest honour at Los Angeles’ Kodak Theatre last Thursday (07.06.07), was left visibly moved as a series of Hollywood stars paid tribute to him.
Upon collecting his award, Pacino said: "I need a character. I don’t think of myself as being able to do anything. Seeing my life in the movies, I have one question. And that is, ‘Why aren’t I in rehab?!’ "By age 3, I was doing Al Jolson (legendary singer who starred in the first ‘talking’ film). I found, in the theatre, this place I could go to. I found this peace.
‘It means so many things to be honoured like this. It feels great’.
The three-hour gala featured clips from Pacino’s biggest films including ‘The Godfather’, ‘Scent of a Woman’ and ‘Serpico’.
Director Oliver Stone, who wrote ‘Scarface’ in which Pacino starred as a violent drug dealer, paid tribute to one of Pacino’s most famous lines.
Stone said: "Al has a wicked sense of humour and a great, if misunderstood, heart. "It is with great love and respect that I say goodnight to the bad guy." Jamie Foxx, who starred alongside the 67-year-old in ‘Any Given Sunday’, hailed him as "the greatest actor in the world".
Andy Garcia, who worked with Pacino on ‘The Godfather: Part III’, said: "The depth of your artistry is only more overwhelmed by the generosity of your spirit and your warmth. You’re Van Gogh. You’re Modigliani. That’s who you are." Robin Williams, who was treated for alcoholism last year, joked: "I would like to raise a glass to you, but that would be 11 months out the window." Past recipients of the prestigious award include Sir Sean Connery, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Elizabeth Taylor, Alfred Hitchcock, Bette Davis and Jack Nicholson. Pacino is best known for playing mafia boss Michael Corleone in the ‘Godfather’ movie series. He won a Best Actor Oscar for ‘Scent of a Woman’ in 1993 for his portrayal of a blind Colonel, and has received a further seven Oscar nominations during his career.
He was presented with the Golden Globes’ prestigious Cecil B DeMille career achievement award in 2001.
Pacino’s latest projects include a big screen reunion with his ‘Heat’ co-star Robert De Niro and a Salvador Dali biopic.
