LOREN DOES U-TURN ON PUBLIC STRIP
LATEST: Screen veteran SOPHIA LOREN has done a U-turn on her pledge to strip if her soccer team were successful - insisting she meant it as joke.
The 72-year-old Italian siren was so desperate to see her beloved Napoli be promoted from the Serie B soccer league to Serie A, she promised the saucy treat if the team managed to triumph.
However, despite Napoli’s end-of-season success she has gone back on her word.
She says, "I won’t be taking my clothes off. It was a joke, only provocation."
