McCARTNEY: ‘MILLS SPLIT WILL NEVER FEATURE IN MY MUSIC’
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY insists he will never write a song about his split with estranged wife HEATHER MILLS, because "music is an escape" for him.
The former Beatle and Mills are in the middle of a bitter divorce battle, but McCartney doesn’t want his personal life influencing the tone of his albums.
He says, "It’s actually the opposite. For me, music is an escape. It always has been.
"You’re in a bad mood or have an argument, you go off in a corner and write a song. It’s a form of therapy.
"I don’t see it as anything to do with my personal circumstances." McCartney’s latest album, Memory Almost Full, was released this week (05Jun07).
