Former Baywatch star DAVID HASSELHOFF is in talks to star in his own Cabaret show in Las Vegas.
The singer/actor, who has sold over 7 million records worldwide, is desperate to return to Nevada’s Sin City after his recent stint in theatre show The Producers.
Hasselhoff says, "I think there’s a niche to bring back the old Vegas.
"I’ve seen the rooms, I’ve talked to Robert (Earl, owner of Planet Hollywood) about opening a theatre in November, and I like it here. But I am coming back, and whether it’s here or another hotel, we’ll see."

Kevin Lygo, director of content at the British TV network, claims pulling the harrowing image of Diana dying at the scene of the Paris car crash on August 31, 1997, from tonight’s (06.06.07) ‘Diana: The Witness In The Tunnel’ documentary would set a ‘dangerous precedent’.
He said: ‘It would gave a serious impact on the legitimate coverage of high-profile tragedies where there is a responsible use of archive stills or footage.’ Channel 4 boss Julian Bellamy added Diana’s face would be obscured in the image showing a French paramedic giving her oxygen.
The prince’s private secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton - who initially wrote to Channel 4 on William and Harry’s behalf to ask them not to screen the images - urged the channel to reconsider their decision.
He said: ‘We’re not objecting to the documentary, just the photos. There’s no need to distress these two young men in a way that these pictures will.’ Lowther-Pinkerton also wrote to Channel 4 executive Hamish Mykura, who commissioned the controversial programme, saying the princes believed screening the pictures was a ‘gross disrespect’ to their mother’s memory.
He asked: ‘If it were your or my mother dying in that tunnel, would we want the scene broadcast to the nation?’ Mykura, who revealed his own father had died in a car crash in 1988, said he did not intend to upset the princes.
He said: ‘I am in no doubt about the pain that can cause. But I do feel that if the subject had been reported in the press like this, there are circumstances in which it would be correct for it to be broadcast, as long as it was handled in a measured and responsible way.
‘I am very sorry to hear that the princes are upset by the film. I certainly wouldn’t want to upset them and regret if they are.’

In a nod towards her husband Britain’s Prince Charles’ compassion for the environment, Camilla decided to dust off her oyster bridal outfit and recycle it for the event.
Camilla, who was last seen in the stunning Robinson Valentine dress and jacket on her wedding day to Charles in 2005, adapted the outfit for the occasion with some carefully selected accessories. The 59-year-old carried an elegant sating clutch bag and wore pearls and a feathered straw hat. Britain’s Queen Elizabeth officially opened the third session of the Welsh assembly yesterday (05.06.07). The queen arrived at the Cardiff Bay home of the National Assembly for Wales, known as the Senedd, accompanied by her husband the Prince Philip, her son Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
The royal group were greeted by Senedd Presiding Officer Dafydd Elis-Thomas.
In a short speech addressing the gathering, Elizabeth said: ‘The Government of Wales Act opens a new era for devolution.
‘It is now for you to ensure that policies and legislation meet the needs and aspirations of the people of Wales more closely than ever before. ‘I shall follow your progress with great interest and hope that you will build on the achievements of the last eight years in the service of the people of Wales.’ The 81-year-old queen spent time chatting with locals gathered to witness the ceremony, before travelling to Cardiff city centre for a tour of the National Museum of Wales.
The royal party later attended a Cardiff Business Club Dinner at the Wales Millennium Centre in aid of Charles’ charity The Prince’s Trust.
The day also marked the start of Charles and Camilla’s annual summer tour of Wales.
Britain’s Prince Harry is already ‘one of the boys’ at his military training base in Canada.
The Calgary Herald newspaper has quoted a source as saying that the prince was seen laughing and joking with soldiers in a café bar at the British Army Training Unit, Suffield.
The source said: ‘He was talking to the boys. He just blends right in. I think he’s just a normal boy. He likes to enjoy himself.’ Harry, a second lieutenant with the Blues and Royals regiment of the British Army’s Household Cavalry, is said to be practising ‘fire and manoeuvre’ tactics at the Suffield base, 160 km southeast of Calgary in the western province of Alberta. It is thought his time at what is the largest training area available for British armoured vehicles suggests Army bosses are planning to deploy the 22-year-old prince to Afghanistan’s Helmand Province.
Last month, Army chief General Sir Richard Dannatt announced that Harry would not be deployed in Iraq due to fears over his safety, but a future posting to a war zone was never ruled out.
It is thought that conditions in Afghanistan would make it easier for Harry to go unidentified than in war-torn Iraq.

California police were called to the home of DAVID HASSELHOFF’s ex-wife PAMELA BACH on Monday (04Jun07) following an alleged altercation between the warring pair.
Hasselhoff and Bach are currently embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their two daughters Hayley Amber, 14, and Taylor Ann, 17, and attended a private court hearing in Los Angeles on Monday (04Jun07).
However, website TMZ.com reports the couple had an argument before their court appearance on Monday.
One source claims the former Baywatch star was "abusive" to Bach when he arrived at her Encino, California home to bring Hayley a pair of shoes, so she called police.
Another source insists Bach was the angry participant and shouted at Hasselhoff when he refused to speak to her as he picked up some of Hayley’s clothes.
A source from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirms police were called to house and the incident was reported.

LATEST: British pop star LILY ALLEN has blamed the temptations of touring for luring her back to alcohol.
Earlier this month (Jun07) Allen claimed she was an alcoholic and voiced fears her addiction could kill her.

LATEST: PARIS HILTON is struggling after a little over two days in jail, sobbing to family members over the phone and complaining she isn’t sleeping or eating.
The heiress has served just over 48 hours of her 23 day sentence for violating her parole following a 2006 drink-driving arrest.
But, according to TMZ.com, the 26-year-old is close to crumbling. Sources tell the site she has no appetite and is struggling to sleep in her noisy and "freezing cell", with just three small blankets and no pillow.
Hilton’s fellow inmates have extended her a warm welcome according to the sources, who claim other prisoners chanted "Paris! Paris! Paris!" as she passed them - as well as offering her gifts and words of support.

PAMELA ANDERSON’s preview performance as a magician’s assistant in Las Vegas came to an abrupt end on Friday (01Jun07) when a small fire broke out backstage.
The former Baywatch star is assisting illusionist Hans Klok in his The Beauty Of Magic show at the Planet Hollywood Theater.
At the show’s final preview on Friday, Anderson and Klok were warming up on stage when emerging smoke from backstage triggered the fire alarms.
Anderson joked, "I didn’t realise I was so hot." The audience was evacuated while the fire was put out.

British singer GEORGE MICHAEL has branded other men "jealous" of his carefree lifestyle - and insists its the reason why the press hate him.

Hoffman will star as a downcast man who meets an unlikely companion while in London for his daughter’s wedding in ‘Last Chance Harvey’.
The independent film will be directed by BAFTA-winning British filmmaker Joel Hopkins, who also wrote the screenplay. Hopkins penned the story with Hoffman and Thompson in mind for the lead roles.
This is not the first time 69-year-old Hoffman and Thompson have starred together. The Oscar-winning pair both appeared in last year’s Will Ferrell comedy ‘Stranger Than Fiction’.
Thompson, 48, features as Professor Sybil Trelawney in the fifth Harry Potter film ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’, set to hit cinemas worldwide next month.
