RICHARDS: STONES AREN’T IN IT FOR THE MONEY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:14 pm

Rock legend KEITH RICHARDS has slammed suggestions that THE ROLLING STONES endure gruelling hours of touring solely for the vast income it brings in.
The 63-year-old insists that there is much more to performing night after night than the financial rewards - which are said to be approaching.
The Rolling Stones are in the midst of the A Bigger Bang tour, which after continuing for over two years is said to be one of the longest and highest grossing having pulled in over $436 million (£218 million) to date.
Richards says, "I don’t think you could get these guys to do it just for the money.
"It’s still a bloody adventure. Every time you set sail on these things, they’re never the same and I love to see the world and I hope the world loves to see me.
"You get this insane idea that you can only do this between 17 and 25, but y’know, I’m not a tennis player. I’ll show you how long it can be done."
