Two Australian toddlers have survived a night alone in the outback.
Trista Foley, aged three, and two-year-old Dakota Vincent, disappeared from their parents’ holiday home near the harsh south-western desert, and were discovered over 24 hours later wandering in their pyjamas.
Despite plummeting temperatures and not having any food or water, the adventurous tots survived unharmed.
Rescue teams were unable to find the children, but a local resident discovered them in thick bush two miles from where they’d been staying.
Police said the children were in good health.

Archaeologists in Egypt have discovered the world’s oldest bowling alley.
An Italian team uncovered a large room with a shallow lane running down the middle, resembling an alley.
Two heavy stones were found located nearby, which the experts believe would have been used as bowling balls.
The ancient alley, at a site south of Cairo, dates back to 332 BC.
Historians believe the discovery is man’s first ever attempt at a structure created for the purpose of playing the now-popular pastime.

The fashion buyer - who split from the prince in April after amid reports he was not ready to commit - visited one of William’s favourite haunts, London’s Mahiki club in Mayfair, with her mystery man and a few pals on Wednesday night (30.05.07).
Kate ordered the prince’s favourite cocktail, The Treasure Chest, chatted to William’s friend Guy Pelly and ‘got close’ with her new male acquaintance.
A source told Britain’s The London Paper: ‘Kate and her date were getting close at their table.
‘She was in unusually high spirits. She had a table within the VIP section and was dancing around.’ Other guests enjoying the Johnny Cash themed night included singer Lily Allen and model Lizzy Jagger.
Kate and her mystery man left Mahiki to continue their night at another of William’s top hangouts, Boujis in South Kensington.
As they exited the club and clambered into their taxi Kate’s new man put his hand on her knee and the pair giggled together.

Vietnamese stylist Manh Phan - who cut the Duke of York’s hair while working for Mayfair hairdresser Denise McAdam - revealed Andrew’s locks are hard to style as it grows in many different directions.
Phan told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper: ‘I cut Andrew’s hair in a bathroom in Buckingham Palace.
‘They had set up a mirror and chair and I brought my own scissors and hair dryer.
‘As I was very young and naïve, I told him he had a ‘dodgy hairline’ that made his hair grown in odd directions and so made it difficult to cut.
‘I think he was quite surprised, but he liked the cut so much he wrote to Denise requesting me to come again.’ Phan - who is opening his own salon in Hackney - was born in Vietnam and became a hairdresser on a Youth Training Scheme after growing up in a London children’s home.

The Jaguar Sovereign, a 1992 model in Westminster blue, went under the hammer along with 30 other vintage cars in the sale at Manchester’s Simon Charles Auctioneers.
The vehicle - made to order for Buckingham Palace - sold for a modest £6,100, well under the price expected by the auctioneers.
Mike Andrews, of the Tameside auction house, said: ‘The car was worth every penny. It went for a decent price, not over the top, but a decent price. With the royal connection we did expect it might go for a bit higher.
‘However, on balance everyone involved in the sale was happy.’ The new owner, known only as a Lancashire man, was said to be very pleased with his new purchase.
Former owner Alan Verity, who bought the car through a Jaguar enthusiasts’ club because of its associations with the royal family, polished the vehicle every week and kept it in storage over the winter to ensure it remained in mint condition.
He said: ‘It’s an absolutely superb drive, as you would expect, but it takes a lot of nursing. I’m really sad to see it go.’ The Jaguar was part of the royal fleet for three years, and Diana was even photographed arriving at an engagement in the luxury car.

Sarah - the ex-wife of Britain’s Prince Andrew - says she could not accept the offer to appear on this summer’s new ITV talent show because of her charity commitments.
She told the Royalist website: ‘They asked me to be a judge on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, which I would have loved to do but sadly it clashed with my commitments for the Ronald McDonald Foundation which is a charity I’m very closely involved with.’ It is not the first time the duchess has been tipped to star on a TV reality show.
Earlier this week it emerged she had been approached to appear as a judge on US show on ‘Project Runway’ - which sees young fashion designers hoping to break into the world of haute couture.
Sarah was also expected to make a guest appearance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ after she expressed a desire to appear on the US talent series last year.
The 47-year-old royal’s next British TV appearance will be for a tribute to music mogul Simon Cowell. The ‘This Is Your Life’ special is due to air on June 2. Sarah, a long-time friend of ‘The X Factor’ judge, attended the London recording of the show with daughters Princess Beatrice, 18, and Princess Eugenie, 17, on Sunday (27.05.07).

Another meeting is now being scheduled for next month, and Balkenende said steps needed to be taken to ensure measures are more ‘thorough’.
A member of parliament told NOVA it was ‘perplexing and embarrassing’ how carelessly the documents were handled.

Moby wrote on his personal website: "You know how the religious right will every now and then say that some natural disasters - hurricanes, earthquakes, etc - happen because God is angry at secular sinners? "I mean, personally, I tend to think that things like hurricanes and tornadoes happen for non-anthropocentric reasons and are, actually, just examples of extreme and arbitrary weather.
"But if natural disasters are, as the evangelicals maintain, a sign of God’s wrath, then what does it mean that 90 per cent of the damage caused by tornadoes and hurricanes in the US happen in right-wing, Republican states that are heavily populated by evangelicals? "Again, I’m of the ‘weather tends to happen because of climatological factors’ school of thought.
"But the evangelicals have on plenty of occasions tried to maintain that natural disasters are the products of God’s wrath. For example, they said that Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans because New Orleans was hosting a gay pride weekend.
"I’m not making light of the damage done by natural disasters in the US, I’m just trying to point out another small logical inconsistency on the part of our evangelical pals."

Michael Jackson memorabilia being sold at a Las Vegas auction has made $500,000 in its first day. The iconic black and red military style jacket worn by Michael in 1987 was one of the biggest earners, fetching $24,000, at the first half of the two-day auction at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Wednesday (30.05.07). More than 1,100 items had been put up for grabs at the sale, led by auctioneers Guernsey’s, including mementos from Michael’s solo career and his time in The Jacksons. A collection of gold and platinum albums presented to the Jackson family for sales of ‘We Are the World’, a charity recording by a group of artists known as USA for Africa, sold for $20,000. The auction was set to end late last night (31.05.07). ‘Thriller’ singer Michael, who will not receive any of the profits, had previously attempted to halt the sale. The Jacksons lost possession of the items after failing to pay a storage bill. The memorabilia was sold to luggage delivery company Universal Express Inc. last year. Despite having paid $5 million for the collection and $2 million in transportation costs, the company’s chief executive Richard Altomare said he was not disappointed with the sales so far. Other auction items include a model of alien film character E.T. and a good luck telegram sent by Marlon Brando in 1984, numerous one-off costumes worn by Michael and his siblings, and a collection of personal letters.

‘Hostel’ director Eli Roth has confessed he fantasises about torturing the ‘Almost Famous’ actress on the big screen.
Roth said: "I’d love to torture Kate Hudson. But then again, sitting through one of her romantic comedies is its own form of torture.
"If I had to choose between watching ‘Raising Helen’ or vomiting because of something I’d seen on the screen in ‘Hostel Part II’, I’d pick the vomit every time." Hudson, 28, has starred in several romantic comedies, including ‘Raising Helen’, ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ and ‘Le Divorce’. The Oscar nominated actress already has a horror credit to her name. The Police drummer Stewart Copeland has branded the band’s second comeback performance a complete ‘disaster’. The musician described the group’s second Vancouver show on Wednesday (30.05.07) as "unbelievably lame".
Copeland sad: "This is unbelievably lame. We are the mighty Police and we are totally at sea.
"I banged my gong at the wrong time so the big pompous opening to the show was a damp squib. It usually takes about four or five shows in a tour before you get to the disaster gig. But we’re The Police so we are a little ahead of schedule." The concert, played in front of 20,000 fans at the GM Place Arena, got off to a rocky start when Copeland tripped as he took the stage. The drummer then claims that he, guitarist Andy Summers and bassist-and-vocalist Sting were "half a bar out of sync" during classic hit ‘Message in a Bottle’.
He also said Sting’s attempts to leap in the air during ‘Synchronicity II’ left the singer looking "like a petulant pansy instead of a god of rock".
Sting, 55, announced the band’s reunion tour, their first live dates for over two decades, earlier this year.
The world tour is scheduled to run until early next year, with concerts due to take place across the US, Europe, Japan, Australia, Latin America and New Zealand.
The band’s next show is on Saturday (02.06.07) in Edmonton.

Gwen - who is married to British rocker Gavin Rossdale - said: ‘Because we’ve travelled so much, he’s never got into a schedule. I think this tour is going to be the greatest time to get him one.
‘He’ll have a crib on the tour bus and a room will be set up at every venue with his toys, nappy bed and a rocking chair. So I’ll be rocking him to sleep in the dressing room every night before I go onstage and rock out!’

The Fray lead singer Isaac Slade is set to receive a British country mansion worth £7.5 million from a long-lost relative. Childless British aristocrat Sir Benjamin Slade selected the ‘How to Save a Life’ singer as a potential heir following an 18-month worldwide DNA search to find a relative to claim his estate.
Denver-born Isaac’s bloodline traces back to Sir Benjamin through the Worcester side of the family.
Isaac’s relatives started the Slade School of Fine Art, in London, before moving to the US. The rocker admits he was blown away when he first visited Maunsel House, a 13th Century property in Somerset.
Isaac said: "As we drove up I thought, ‘Oh my God this is amazing.’ "I’d love to live here. But for now it’s just great to see the house and spend some time with this crazy guy." The rocker and his wife, along with the band’s guitarist David Welsh and wife Janell, will stay in the home for two nights to get acquainted with the property.
Sir Benjamin, 60, has desperately been searching for an heir to take over his nine-bedroom house, because the large estate is too big for him to maintain. The mansion boasts a ballroom, library, bar and five reception rooms in addition to 1,500 acres, six cottages, three lakes, 430 cattle, 13 peacocks, four Labradors and six pigs.
After Sir Benjamin’s relatives in the UK declined his offer to inherit the house, the aristocrat piloted a Discovery Channel Show called ‘I’m Really a Royal’ in 2006 to find the rightful owner of the enormous estate.
Sir Benjamin received 15,000 applications for DNA testing but is pleased The Fray rocker may soon be the new owner.
He said: "I’ve got a good feeling about the boy. Hopefully he’s the one."
