Kidney complaint

Posted in: Bizzare Stories — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:23 pm

A Dutch TV company will film three critically ill patients competing for a kidney transplant.
The kidney will be provided by a terminally ill woman, who will decide the lucky winner of the organ, with the help of viewers.
All three contestants are critically ill and on dialysis as they wait for a donor organ to be made available.
Viewers of ‘The Big Donor Show’ will be able to send text messages to advise the 37-year-old woman, known as Lisa, which of the candidates to pick.
The show is being made by Endemol, which created ‘Big Brother’ in 1999, for broadcaster BNN.
The project sparked widespread complaints but BNN claims the show is designed to highlight the acute shortage of donors in the Netherlands.
