SIMPLY RED frontman MICK HUCKNALL stunned fans at a recent London gig when he blasted stewards preventing concertgoers from getting closer to the stage.
The British singer was playing at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday (30May07) when a group of female devotees attempted to move to the front of the crowd.
They were stopped by stewards who tried to persuade them to go back to their seats, but the Fairground star caught sight of the situation and hit out at the venue workers.
He shouted, "Oi, f**khead! Leave them alone, they’re not teenagers you know." Hucknall later apologised to the audience, full of 30 and 40-year-old women, saying: "Apologies for my profanity, but some people push you to the limit. I’m sorry if I offended anyone."
