‘FREE’ OZZFEST TICKETS CONTROVERSY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:28 pm

Eager fans hoping to attend this year’s free Ozzfest concert may be forced to pay for tickets.
OZZY and SHARON OSBOURNE recently announced the gig - which kicks off in Washington on 12 July (07) - will be free for fans. But concert-goers may have to purchase special ‘packages’ to ensure guaranteed entry following a delay in ticket distribution.
Fans unwilling to wait until 12 June to hear if their application for tickets has been successful are opting to spend between $300 (£150) and $1,000 (£500) on VIP tickets.
Earlier this month the former Black Sabbath frontman told MTV, "The ticket prices don’t ever go down. We’re in hard times now. I’m just trying to bring a bit of fairness to the game, and Sharon is also, and keep people happy."
