NE-YO TO OPEN ATLANTA STUDIO
Enterprising R&B star NE-YO has announced he will open his own recording studio in a gated residential area of Atlanta, Georgia.
The So Sick singer, who is tapped to write new tunes for Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Whitney Houston’s comeback albums, will launch his new venture, Carrington House, next week (30May07).
The new studio will feature two fully-equipped kitchens and a lavish lounge for guests, according to Billboard.com.
The first acts to use Ne-Yo’s new studio set up will be R&B singers Paula Campbell and Sixx John, who are linked to the singer/songwriter’s Compound Entertainment label.
To coincide with the new studio, Ne-Yo has teamed up with Atlanta-area radio station WVEE-Atlanta to launch a talent search for a new act he’ll work with.
