WINFREY BOOK ‘ON HOLD’
LATEST: OPRAH WINFREY’s father has put his proposed tell-all book about the US TV host "on hold".
Talk show queen Winfrey was "shocked" and "disappointed" by reports earlier this week (begs21May07) her dad was penning the memoir, but Vernon Winfrey insists he hasn’t been persuaded to drop his publishing plans by his famous offspring.
He says, "There is no book. We might think about it later on.
"It’s just on hold right now."
