MANICS SLAM BRITISH MUSIC SCENE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:46 pm

Welsh rockers the MANIC STREET PREACHERS have slammed the British music scene insisting they don’t want their children to listen to their music peers.
Bassist Nicky Wire singles out Scottish group Franz Ferdinand for criticism, branding their lyrics crap.
He says, "They (Franz Ferdinand) committed the worst ever lyrical crime (on single Do You Want To): ‘Here we are at the transmission party/I love your friends, they’re all so arty’. Crap! "My Chemical Romance? I’d rather my daughter got into them than some of these British bands."
