GUPTA TRIES TO WIN WIFE BACK WITH POETRY
Bollywood star SANJAY GUPTA is attempting to win back his estranged wife ANU, by bombarding her with poetry.
Gupta has used the couple’s separation to inspire the poems, which he also plans to use in forthcoming autobiographical film Alibaug.
The Guptas have been separated for several years - but recent rumours suggest they are close to reuniting.
The Kante actor/director says, "The only way I can express myself is through poetry. I’ve written quite a lot of poems for her, something I wouldn’t do for any one else in the world. So if people find my poetic efforts in Alibaug bad, they would know whom to blame.
"I’d love to have her back. As I grow older I do feel the need to find my roots again. And Anu is very much part of my roots. I can’t say I haven’t made mistakes. And she had every right to leave me. But now I’ve every right to want her back. My footloose days are over."
