STALLONE FINED FOR BANNED DRUGS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:07 am

LATEST: Hollywood star SYLVESTER STALLONE has been fined just $2,450 (£1,225) for bringing banned body-building drugs into Australia earlier this year (07).
The Rocky actor showed enough remorse during his trial to escape the maximum penalty of $18,136 (£9,068), according to Deputy Chief Magistrate Paul Cloran.
However, Cloran ordered Stallone, who was not in the Sydney court for sentencing, to pay the prosecution costs of £8,244 (£4,122) as well.
Last week (16May07) Stallone apologised for bringing banned growth hormone Jintropin into Australia in February (07). He was detained at Sydney airport by customs officials who seized his luggage and later raided his hotel room and private jet in search of the substance.
