ACTOR WRIGHT DIES
American comedian and actor CARL WRIGHT has died of cancer. He was 75.
The entertainer passed away at his home in Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday (19May07), according to his daughter Kia.
Wright, who began his career as a tap dancer, found silver screen success later in life with movies including Barbershop and Big Momma’s House.
Paying tribute to her father, Kia said, "He’s done so many things. He worked with everyone from Elvis Presley to Frank Sinatra." Wright is survived by his wife, Shirley, two other daughters and a granddaughter.
