OAP Playground

Posted in: Bizzare Stories — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:06 pm

A child-free playground has opened in Germany.
The £15,000 play area has banned kids from entering because it is specially designed for pensioners.
Renate Zeumer, who runs the company that designed the playground in Berlin’s Preussen Park, says she got the idea after being inspired by China.
She said: "I noticed how people exercised in parks and on the streets and thought something similar would be good here." However, some visitors have complained they have found it hard to get around the playground, with two elderly ladies saying their walking frames have got stuck in the bark which has been used to cover the playground.
