HILTON CALLS OFF APPEAL
PARIS HILTON has reportedly chosen to serve her jail time without a fuss after pulling plans to appeal her conviction.
The socialite’s high-profile lawyer, Richard Hutton, was scheduled to file an appeal with the judge that ordered Hilton to serve 45 days in jail for violating her parole and driving a car with a suspended license later today (17May07).
But TMZ.com reports Hutton called court officials this morning to call off the appeal.
Hilton’s 45-day sentence was reduced to 23 days yesterday (16May07). She must begin serving her time by 5 June (07).
