REMINI LAMENTS LACK OF AWARDS FOR KING OF QUEENS
Actress LEAH REMINI is shocked she has never been awarded for her role in TV sitcom KING OF QUEENS during its nine year stint.
The star admits she would have loved an Emmy or Golden Globe to mark her time playing Carrie Heffernan.
She says, "I’m not one of those people who goes, ‘Oh, I’m glad we had a show on this long.’ I want awards! "I just like to bitch. I’m the kind of person, you invite me on a private jet, and I’m not thankful. I go, ‘How do they not have a cappuccino maker on board?’" But Remini says she will miss not going to the studio every day adding, "It’s going to take me some time to deal with it. Thank God I have work." The final episode of King Of Queens aired last night (14May07).
