However, champion equestrian Zara has decided to delay an officially statement so she can concentrate on training for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
It is thought that Zara, the daughter of Britain’s Princess Anne, came to her decision after discussions with her father Captain Mark Phillips.
A source told Britain’s The Mail on Sunday: ‘She is focusing all her efforts on bringing home the gold medal. As far as her father is concerned, her career is the most important thing.
‘Her mother Princess Anne is really fond of Mike, but Zara’s father has his reservations. He’s not convinced it’s a perfect match and has told Zara to hold off making anything official and concentrate instead on her sport.’ The insider also claims that Captain Phillips believes Tindall is ‘too laid back’ and previously demanded that his daughter rethink the relationship.
Despite her father’s reservations, it is still thought that Zara is keen to get the couple’s marriage plans underway as soon as her Olympic bid is over.

Army officials are planning to let a Ministry of Defence (MoD) film crew follow the young royal during his posting to the war-torn region, with footage set to be shown on TV and the internet. It is hoped the film, dubbed ‘Desert Prince’, will prove a valuable weapon in the propaganda battle with insurgent groups, who have been using footage of hostages and British aircraft wreckages as material to highlight their cause. An MoD spokesman told reporters: ‘We need to consider how we are going to handle the huge interest in prince Harry. Operational Security remains of paramount importance.’ Army chiefs will take care the move does not increase the risk to 22-year-old Harry’s personal safety in Iraq. The footage will be closely scrutinised for any details which may help insurgents or terrorist groups planning to target the royal.
Former Conservative Homeland Security spokesman Patrick Mercer told Britain’s The Mail on Sunday newspaper: ‘They will have to be very careful not to give away prince Harry’s general location. If this goes wrong, it will come back to haunt them.
‘That said, it’s a bold move and a very positive piece of propaganda.’ Harry’s deployment to the war-torn country was delayed to give his regiment time to assess the dangers.
It has now been decided that Harry will not be allowed to fight on the front line and will instead fulfil on-base duties only.

Bishop of Salisbury David Stancliffe believes letting Harry enter the controversial conflict would threaten the royal family’s traditional stance of keeping out of political issues and maintaining purely positive roles in promoting foreign relations.
The bishop told Britain’s The Sunday Times newspaper: ‘The Iraq war has divided the country in a way no other issue has in modern times. ‘In these circumstances, can it be right for any member of the royal family, even if they are serving officers in the British Army, to be asked to enter this conflict directly?’ Bishop Stancliffe, who has been one of the country’s most outspoken opponents to the Iraq invasion since its launch in 2003, believes sending Harry to Iraq will imply the prince’s support of the war and would ’surely raise constitutional as well as prudential questions’.
Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, who is also an outspoken detractor of the war, also holds similar views. Prince Harry’s deployment, which could take place within the next few weeks, has been controversial from the outset. Military officials and Clarence House advisors have discussed the matter at great length, and on numerous occasions it looked as though the 22-year-old royal would not be posted to the war-torn Iraq. Harry, who has trained as a second lieutenant with the Household Cavalry’s Blues and Royals, has always stated he does not want to be treated differently from his army colleagues.

The musician – the organiser of the Live Aid and Live 8 concerts which raised money and aid for the Third World - is furious he has been linked with the eco-friendly event, and has branded it a waste of time.
Geldof raged to Holland’s De Volkskrant newpaper: ‘It sounds like Live 8. I’m getting lots of responses from people who think I am organising it.
‘I would only organise Live Earth if I could go on stage and announce concrete environmental measures from the American presidential candidates, Congress or major corporations.
‘They haven’t got those guarantees, so it’s just an enormous pop concert or the umpteenth time that, say, Madonna or Coldplay get up on stage.
‘I hope they’re a success. But why is Gore actually organising them? To make us aware of the greenhouse effect? Everybody’s known about that problem for years. We are all f***ing conscious of global warming.’ Former US Vice-President Al Gore said Live Earth would mark the beginning of a long campaign to fight global warming and insisted the concerts were a good way to launch the project because ‘the task of saving the global environment is a task we should all approach with a sense of joy".
The headliners of the London Live Earth show at Wembley stadium are expected to be Madonna, the Beastie Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Keane and Foo Fighters. At the US concert, to be held at Giants Stadium outside New York, Bon Jovi, the Dave Matthews Band, Kanye West, Rihanna, John Mayer, the Smashing Pumpkins and Fall Out Boy are all expected to perform.
The concerts will be broadcast in the US by the NBC network and on more than 120 networks around the world. It will also be streamed live online.

The 41-year-old writer wrote on her website: "I might do an eighth book for charity – a kind of encyclopedia of the world, so that I could use all the extra material that’s not in the books." The book would allow fans a further insight into the world of Harry Potter and his friends, including details that were not included in the best-selling novels. Rowling has already penned two Harry Potter reference books – ‘Quidditch Through The Ages’ and ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’. The books raised more than £15 million for British charity Comic Relief. The magical tales of Harry and his Hogwarts pals have made Rowling one of the highest earning writers ever, and one of the richest women in the world with an estimated fortune of £576 million according to Forbes magazine’s annual rich list. As well as Comic Relief, the children’s author supports numerous charities including medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières.

That means no booze, no parading round in skimpy outfits, no partying. She’s got to stick with her family and take on a healthier regime.’ Paris is due to begin her sentence at California’s female-only Century Regional Detention Centre in Lynwood on June 5.
Just in case her appeal is not successful, the socialite is said to be learning self-defence so she can protect herself against inmates who have threatened to target her.
Authorities have announced that Paris could serve less than half her sentence because of a state directive which reduces the length of incarceration for good behaviour and to ease overcrowding.

The rapper - real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor - was arrested after police issued a warrant to search his home in Glendale, Los Angeles, on Friday (11.05.07). The former G-Unit member, who was released early on Saturday morning (12.05.07) after posting $50,000 bail, was taken into custody on suspicion of making criminal threats to an unidentified person in February.
Officers took $3,000 from The Game during their search, but returned the sum after he was released by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The 27-year-old hip-hop star’s mother arrived at his house during the search, and after being informed of his arrest reportedly replied: "He’s a gangsta rapper." The Game insisted he was not guilty as he was taken away from his home in handcuffs.
In November, the rapper was arrested in New York City on suspicion of persuading a cab driver to run through a series of red lights after he told him he was an undercover police officer.

Sting’s wife Trudie Styler has hit out at last week’s tribunal judgment which she believes portrayed her as ‘a monstrous tyrant’. Trudie has blasted the damning judgment calling it a "deeply personal attack" on her character.

The tribunal hearing branded Trudie the "driving force" in sacking Jane, 41, who had worked as a personal chef at the couple’s Salisbury Lake House estate. Trudie described the ruling as a "terrible decision" and "extraordinary travesty".
She said: "It read as I was this lofty presence, given to grandiose pretension and unthinkingly lavish gestures." Jane told the jury how she continued working 14-hour days despite being heavily pregnant, before being abruptly sacked from her £28,000-a-year job. The tribunal heard how Trudie allegedly liked to be treated in a "royal manner". Mother-of-four Trudie noted she came from modest working class roots and claimed the idea of discriminating against a pregnant woman was "atrocious".

‘Saying f**k every other sentence is part of the vernacular of ‘Die Hard’.’ Despite the language restrictions, Willis claims the film - in which he tackles an internet-based terrorist organisation - is just as good as the original 1988 movie.
He told Vanity Fair magazine: ‘But we still have a pretty hard-core smash-mouth film. I really wanted this one to live up to the first one, which I always thought was the only really good one.’
