WILLIS: ‘$1 MILLION SADDAM RANSOM QUOTE WAS OUT OF CONTEXT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:10 am

Hollywood actor BRUCE WILLIS insists he never offered to pay $1 million (£500,000) to the person who captured former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.
Willis’ patriotic comments were widely quoted in 2003, but the 52-year-old claims he just told "some friends of mine in the military" and that his words were then leaked to, and spun by, the media.
He says, "It’s not that it’s not true - that was said metaphorically. It was taken out of context. I said it thinking my words would not be quoted in public.
"Anybody would be insane to say that. I’m not going to reach into my pocket and take a million dollars out and say bring me the head of someone. It’s crazy.
"Once again, I got f**ked… The press are everywhere. They pay money for s**t famous people say like that.
"So this’ll all be taken as fact - that Bruce Willis, in 2003, offered a reward for finding Saddam Hussein."
