Britain’s Prince Harry’s fellow soldiers have bought ginger wigs to wear in Iraq, in a comical bid to stop insurgents identifying the young royal.

The prince’s Blues and Royals colleagues purchased 12 ginger wigs as a joke, and Harry, 22, is said to have found the prank hilarious.
According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, redheaded Harry was genuinely touched by the humorous show of support, after questions were raised about the safety-implications surrounding his deployment in the war-torn country.
Army General Sir Richard Dannatt recently reviewed the decision to send Harry to Iraq and concluded the royal would be posted to the highly dangerous Mayan province.
However, the decision was made to delay the prince’s arrival in the war zone in order to give his fellow soldiers the chance to assess all the dangers. Harry is expected to finally head for Iraq later this month.
Insurgents have vowed that they will deliberately target the prince, and claim to have sources by which they can pinpoint his whereabouts.
