HUFFMAN INSISTS DRINKING COMMENTS WERE A JOKE
LATEST: DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star FELICITY HUFFMAN is revelling in the news she’s an on-set boozer after claiming a joke she made about her new film was taken out of context for a magazine article.
The actress plays Lindsay Lohan’s alcoholic mother in Georgia Rule and joked with a Parade magazine journalist that she was often "drunk a little bit" for her boozed-up scenes the film.
Huffman now insists her attempt at humour during the interview fell flat and now she fears she may have a reputation as a drinker.
Speaking at last night’s film premiere, she said, "That was a joke and it got pulled out of context, but I like that I’m known now as the drinking actress."
