TUCKER BRANDS $300,000 DOG ATTACK LAWSUIT AS ‘WITHOUT MERIT’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:19 pm

Country singer TANYA TUCKER has dismissed a $300,000 (£150,000) lawsuit filed by her manicurist regarding an alleged dog attack as "without merit".
Danielle Hobbs is suing the Strong Enough To Bend star for compensation, after she claims she was bitten by Bella, one of Tucker’s eight dogs, at her Nashville, Tennessee home in May 2006, leaving her with disfiguring scars on her leg.
Hobbs allegedly voiced her fear of the animals to Tucker’s assistant on a previous visit, when the canines had growled and barked at her. But her request to have the dogs restrained during her manicure sessions was turned down by the singer’s aide, who claimed they were "just babies" and would not be of any harm.
But Tucker’s publicist Kirt Webster has denied the allegations, saying, "This lawsuit comes as a total surprise and has been filed without merit."
