ROD STEWART’S SON SUED
LATEST: ROD STEWART’s son SEAN is facing legal action for an alleged assault last month (23Apr07) which left a couple fearing for their lives.
Stewart and his friends reportedly began throwing rocks and trash at guests as they left a private party, after they were denied entry themselves.
In a lawsuit filed yesterday (08May07) in Los Angeles Superior Court, Tolabus and Ericka Stein claim they were driving their car from the party when Stewart began "swinging his arms, punching, throwing bricks and other items" at them.
According to documents obtained by TMZ.com, the couple felt "shock, horror, fright, worry, grief, shame, embarrassment, anger, chagrin and nausea".
The Steins are seeking unspecified damages.
Sean has previously been in trouble in the US for drug and assault offences, resulting in a three-month stint in jail in 2002.
