DOUGLAS BACK AS GORDON GEKKO

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:55 pm

MICHAEL DOUGLAS will reprise his role as unscrupulous stockbroker GORDON GEKKO in a WALL STREET sequel.
Producer Edward Pressman, who made the original film in 1987, reveals a deal was made last week (ends04May07) with 20th Century Fox to produce a second installment following Gekko on his release from prison.
The project, called Money Never Sleeps, will see Douglas back in the tough-talking role that won him an Academy Award, and the actor is confident he won’t have to change much of his characterisation post-prison.
Doulgas says, "I don’t think he’s much different. He’s just had more time to think about what to do." A script is due later this year (07), according to moviehole.net.
