WOMAN CONTINUES FIGHT FOR JACKSON’S CHILDREN

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:19 pm

An Englishwoman claiming to be the mother of MICHAEL JACKSON’s three children has been given three months to find evidence to support her case by a Los Angeles court.
London-based NONA PARIS LOLA JACKSON alleges she is the biological mother of the Thriller star’s kids, Prince Michael I, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II (aka Blanket).
Jackson’s ex-wife Deborah Rowe is generally acknowledged to be the mother of Jackson’s two older children, but it is unknown who gave birth to Blanket.
Nona filed papers last October (06) demanding a say in the custody arrangement between Jackson and Rowe, and a Los Angeles judge today (04May07) granted her more time to back the claims with evidence, delaying her case until 1 August (07).
Attorneys for Michael Jackson and Rowe did not comment. Michael Jackson previously branded Nona Jackson’s case "ludicrous".

He says, "I don’t want to discuss politics… It can look a little silly for actors to talk politics.
"I don’t mind if it comes off the right way; but look at Michael Moore, the way he twisted some public figures. They’re not thinking; it’s just off the cuff, and he makes them look an a**."

BJORK REGRETS MOVIE ROLE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:10 pm

Icelandic singer BJORK does not rate her performance in DANCER IN THE DARK despite winning an industry award for the role.
The It’s Oh So Quiet star admits she only took on the part to please director Lars von Trier because he had also given her the opportunity to write the soundtrack.
Her role won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2000, but the singer reveals she hasn’t actually watched the movie.
She tells gay magazine Attitude, "There’s a misunderstanding that I don’t want to act because of that movie, but I never really wanted to. I made an exception because of the director. So afterwards it wasn’t that that experience was so horrible that I didn’t do it again it was more like ‘Oh yes I’m back to music!’ "I still haven’t been able to watch that movie, but then again I don’t listen to my own albums because you just move on."

MEAT LOAF RECONCILES WITH STEINMAN

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:04 pm

MEAT LOAF has made peace with long term songwriting partner JIM STEINMAN after a bitter bust-up over the singer’s recent Bat Out Of Hell III album.
The pair fell out because Steinman wasn’t involved in the album, despite it featuring a number of songs he had written. They then clashed in court over the use of the title, which Steinman had registered as a trademark in 1995.
The 59-year-old rocker insists he and Steinman have reconciled and are planning a new project together.
He says, "Our relationship is good. I really want to work with Jim on another project. I spoke to his lawyer recently and he says he does too." Meat Loaf explains why Steinman didn’t take part in the 2006 album, "He was ill. He had had a series of small strokes and needed therapy. I began to doubt if he would be able to do it. I didn’t want to sit around for a year and a half to find out he couldn’t do it.
"It was a little selfish on my part because I want to get it done."
