Dance music phenomenon TIESTO is set to open a restaurant in his native Netherlands.
The Suburban Train hitmaker, real name Tijs Verwest, will launch Asian fusion diner and club Cineac next month (Jun07), in what was an old cinema on Amsterdam’s Rembrandt Square.
And some of the signature dishes will named after Tiesto hits like Flight 643 and Traffic.
He says, "My chef is really creative. He’s no big name or anything, but I really like him. He’s currently creating an Adagio For Strings (Tiesto hit) soup, or something like that.
"I’ve always been a big fan of food and if I wasn’t a DJ now I’d be a chef. I love cooking."
