Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:59 pm

R&B superstar R.KELLY has written a song in memory of the 32 students and staff who died in the Virginia Tech shootings last month (Apr07).
The star wrote Rise Up after watching the events unfold on television while he was on tour and says all proceeds from the track will be donated to Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund - a organisation which provides counselling to victim’s families. According to his label, Jive Records, lyrics include the lines, "Rise up, when you feel you can’t go on, rise up, and all of your hope is gone, rise up, when you’re weak and you can’t be strong."
