A 13-year-old girl has been crowned the US texting champion Morgan Pozgar, from Claysburg, Pennsylvania, won the title after typing ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious. If you say it loud enough you’ll always sound precocious’ from ‘Mary Poppins’ error free in 15 seconds.
Morgan, who scooped $25,000, defeated 250 other competitors at Manhattan’s Roseland Ballroom to become East Coast champion and then conquered West Coast champion Eli Tirosh, 21, in the final.
Morgan, who sends 8,000 text messages a month, said: “I’m going to go out shopping and buy lots of clothes.”
