Plastic loan
A Lebanese bank is offering loans to people who want plastic surgery.
First National Bank’s ‘Plastic Surgery Loan’ hands out between £500 and £2,500 to cover “all plastic surgery operations and orthodontics”.
The bank’s website says: "Today you can have the life you’ve always wanted. This opens horizons." Marketing manager George Nasr revealed the bank has received more than 200 phone calls a day since the loan was launched last week.
Nasr said good looks were vital to Lebanese culture.
He explained: "We like to look our best. There are people who see this loan as their life raft.”
